These talks are ideal for women who are seeking a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. We passionately believe that by sharing and spreading ideas of positivity and wellness, people will become more aware, attitudes will change, and ultimately, our intentional actions will improve lives and the world.

Based on the immensely successful concept of TED Talks, life coach Patti Phillips will host monthly, in-person group chats that explore various ideas in the areas of personal growth, life balance, self-care, happiness, and authentic living.

In each 45-60 minute chat, participants will be guided to be mindful, to consider new perspectives, and to explore options to grow forward.

Heal your Heart: SOLD OUT

Hosted by: Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Patti Phillips

We all experience heart ache in our lives as a result of emotional loss. It could be due to a relationship break-up, a death, a job change, a move, a health crisis, or one of the more than 40 other types of losses we may experience over a lifetime.

Unfortunately, our culture has taught us to hide our feelings around loss and because we’ve learned to avoid talking about sadness and our broken hearts, many people carry unresolved grief that can have a negative impact on their future. As unresolved losses mount, people often begin to make life choices to protect themselves from further heartache. Usually this just translates to living a guarded life and a reluctance to participate fully in relationships or new experiences.

As a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist, Patti will share her learning and insights from her personal experiences with loss and those of her clients. The intention is for participants to begin to explore your own beliefs regarding grief and to equip you with the most useful responses to begin the healing of a broken heart.

Things to note:

The room we use for the session is used by another group prior to us having access. We will wait in the lobby and move in to set up chairs when they are finished. Please don't arrive too early to avoid congestion.

If you like taking notes, bring a journal and pen.

Also bring some cozy slippers or wear your fanciest socks as we will leave our shoes at the entrance.

Group interaction and sharing is encouraged. These sessions are intended to take information to inspiration to action to transformation.

Location: Pilates Manitoba 390 Academy Road (Corner of Ash and Academy Rd.)

Cost is $20

Women's health...a topic that doesn't get discussed as much as it should and certainly does not get the attention of researchers the way it should. So we are taking our health into our own hands by offering sessions that focus on health concerns specific to women and how we can live our lives to the fullest.

We will engage local professional on various topics. If you have suggestions or speakers please let me know.
