HMC cooking night

I'm so excited to offer a fun, educational, tummy filling cooking event with Olivia from Plantivor. This is a hands on evening of learning, chopping, prepping, cooking and eating. Oliva will be our guide for the evening.

You don’t need to be a chef to cook like one.

Okay, maybe you do… BUT we’re pretty confident we can at least get you to start looking and acting the part! And that’s the first step to success, right? Fake it till you make it.

Plants should be more than a side dish. Learn to make them the star of the show and understand basic nutrition principles to creating well-rounded, delicious & healthy plant-based meals.

Our menu will be tied to the time of year, focusing on using seasonal produce and fresh ingredients. Therefore, no two classes will ever be the same!

The Class will teach you to:

  • learn the flavour principles to mastering everyday plant-based cooking

  • dissect and plant-ify ANY recipe

  • apply basic cooking principles to a variety of vegetables and diversify your weekly menu

  • incorporate plants at every meal of the day

  • use your knife the way it’s supposed to be used - and speed up recipe prep applying the right skills!

Leave inspired with a book of plant-based recipes for everyday eating, meal prep tips, and the essential kitchen skills needed to execute EXCELLENT plant-based meals, every single day. (Oh and plenty of tasty leftovers!)

You will need to bring

  • Apron
  • cutting board
  • chef's knife
  • container for left overs
  • a fun attitude
