The HMC Team consists of various members from our community whose expertise helps us deliver the HMC message of health and happiness based on our five pillars. No gimmicks, no marketing hype, just the basic facts in accordance with our five pillars of happiness: Be Positive, Eat Healthy, Live Active, Have Fun and Give Back.

Carol wears many hats in a day—mom, wife, daughter, businesswomen, friend, teammate—and she loves each and every one of them. She shares her love of life and positive energy with all those around her. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, a true prairie girl who lives the motto of our province, "Friendly Manitoba”.
Carol is the founder and leader of HMC with a background in sport and recreation, marketing, fundraising and retailing. She pulls on all her experiences and creates a fun, active community of women inspired by healthy living and giving back to others.
Carol lives the HMC lifestyle which includes her involvement with the Juice Plus company since May of 2014. She loves the natural links and shared values between her 5 pillars of happiness and the Juice Plus company.
Her motto in life is to die young as old as possible..

Patti is a certified life coach, a retreat guide, an experiential educator, and an appreciative inquiry facilitator. She believes the greatest gift you can give yourself and others is simply to live authentically. Imagine a world where every person is expressing their unique gift, living with a positive attitude and spreading their positivity to the people around them. Patti has discovered her natural gift to be guiding others to live their life authentically and she wants to share this gift with you.
When you enter into a personal coaching relationship with Patti, she will be your guide to exploring your natural, authentic personality, help you discover your core values, and map out a plan to align your daily actions with your true self.
Lisa has been a certified Fitness Instructor with the Manitoba Fitness Council since 1996. She has taught almost every type of class over the years, having done both group and one-on-one training. More recently, she became certified to teach yoga, which she has enjoyed as a student for the past 15 years. She is also a Physiotherapist, licensed in Acupuncture. Since the year 2000 she has enjoyed a busy career in private practice, treating everything from the jaw down to the big toe! She is passionate about exercise and health promotion, and living a healthy lifestyle is a priority she shares with her family. She has 3 beautiful young children, including a set of twins.

Rev. Laura D. Bean is an ordained inter-faith Minister with a Bachelor's Degree in Family Studies. She is also registered and certified as both Karuna® and Usui Reiki Master/Practitioner and Teacher, has 24 years of counselling experience and is studied in other natural healing modalities. Rev. Laura practices a unique style of integrated coaching, guidance and healing. Her passion is to help women discover and express the highest version of themselves for a balanced, healthy (in mind, body and spirit), authentic and fulfilling life.
Jodi Lee is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, Professional Home Economist, Health Educator, nutrition professor, writer for several on-line publications, and is passionate about using food for improved health. She is dedicated to demonstrating how real, whole foods as well as ancient wisdom and common sense can have huge impacts on health, happiness, well being, and longevity. Jodi specializes in gluten-free and allergy-free living, digestive issues, and nutrition myth busting.
Deanna Hansen started her career in 1995 as a certified Athletic Therapist. She always focused on deep tissue work as she had strong hands and an intuitive ability to know where to work the tissue. As a result, she had a successful practice.
Her personal life, however, was not so great. She had a lot of excess weight, suffered from anxiety and depression and had chronic pain throughout her body. Generally speaking, she did not enjoy life.
In 1999, Deanna made some major changes to her life, the most significant being that she started practicing a form of self-work. This came as a result of an anxiety attack she was having that forever has changed the course of her life. She gained control of her body and emotions and found the contentment and strength in life to pursue her dreams.
Deri Latimer is positivity speaking! She is one of fewer than 10% of speakers globally who hold the designation of CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), combining a Business degree in Human Resources Management with 20 years of experience providing high-value speaking and training services to virtually every industry and business sector.

Sita Dookeran was a pioneer in the field of teaching meditation for 8 years in Winnipeg, before she moved to Vancouver, BC, in the summer of 2012. Sita is now a spiritual life coach who specializes in meditation. She has provided the 3 guided meditations for our members in the members only area to experience the gift of meditation in minutes a day. She also runs a successful Spirit Life Coaching business. For those of you looking to find a better way and change your life with simple and time-honored healing practices, Sita is your resource.
